Shopping Centre in Oviedo

The project:

  • To execute a business plan focused on leisure, food and retail, with in-depth knowledge of local requirements.
  • To generate synergies with the building’s other uses.
  • To create social value in the centre as part of a repositioning strategy.

The initial situation:

  • The centre is part of an iconic building (designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava) that includes the city’s exhibition and conference centre, government offices and a 4-star hotel.
  • Strategy was mainly geared towards fashion and the centre had yet to find its place in the city.
